Steve Wagenlander 
 Steve WagenlanderDirector of Audience Development, The Post and Courier in Charleston, S.C. In his new role as director of audience development, Mr. Wagenlander is responsible for the newspaper’s marketing, research, niche publications, circulation and innovation team. Prior to his move Charleston in 2001, he served in various circulation leadership roles at The Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader and The Indianapolis (Ind.) Star. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Berea (Ky.) College and an M.B.A. in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University at Marion. Mr. Wagenlander attended API’s Executive Development Program for metro markets in 2006.
