Angela ClarkAngela Clark
Deputy Editor for Creative Media, MSNBC.com

Angela Clark, who has been a journalist/technologist for 14 years, became the director of interactive content for MSNBC in January 2001, after joining MSNBC as program manager in October 1999. Prior to MSNBC, Angela worked in journalism and technology with Washington Post-Newsweek Interactive in Rosslyn, Va.

She began her career as a copy editor and served as news editor, wire editor, and layout editor, and moved into technology to face the challenge of how to tell stories in the new medium of the Web.

In her current position, she leads the interactive producer team in creating day-to-day interactive news coverage, technology and tools used throughout the site, and long-term projects with MSNBC news partners, including the Today Show, Dateline, Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, and Newsweek. She graduated from the University of Kansas, with degrees in English literature and journalism.
