Steve Sidel

Sidel reports directly to Discovery CEO Judith A. McHale and is responsible for guiding the efforts of the company’s newest division, Discovery Education.

Sidel joined Discovery in April 1997 as Director, Legal Affairs. He was named Vice President, Legal Affairs in September 1998, and Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel in July 2001.

Sidel received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University.
