Francesca (Fran) Hauser

General Manager, Time Inc. Interactive
Fran Hauser has been working in the online media space since 1997, serving in a variety of senior management roles at Time Inc. Interactive (TII), America Online (AOL) and Moviefone. TII is the centralized online publishing group for 20 magazine websites (including People, Entertainment Weekly and InStyle) and seven AOL content channels (including AOL Food and AOL Home). In her role as General Manager, she oversees all business, product development and production functions. Prior to joining Time Inc. in January 2003, Fran was a Vice President in the Programming group at AOL where she served as a liaison between AOL and TII, developing opportunities for the two divisions to work more closely together. From 1998 – 2002, Fran was at Moviefone, a service that reaches 8 million users monthly on the web and generates 100 million calls annually on its 777-FILM service. Fran played a key role in the sale of Moviefone to AOL. Shortly after the sale, Fran was appointed VP, General Manager of Moviefone and AOL Movies. Before joining Moviefone, Fran worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University where she concurrently received a BBA and MBA degree.
