John Cantarella
Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development, New York Times Digital
Cantarella is responsible for helping formulate the strategy for NYTimes.com and works on corporate development initiatives for NYTimes.com and Boston.com. He also works on negotiating business development deals and is currently spearheading NYTimes.com's broadband strategy and subsequent implementation. Earlier, John worked in the Strategic Planning group at The New York Times where he worked on growth initiatives for the newspaper. Prior to working for NYT, he worked freelance in film production in New York City on various feature films including Sleepers and Howard Stern Private Parts.
John received a bachelor's degree in History and an MBA in Finance/Marketing, both from New York University.
